Let’s be honest ... We both know the users of your invoicing/pre-accountancy platform rather enjoy a vodka martini 🍸 “shaken not stirred”, instead of spending their Sunday afternoons collecting invoices.
Why not let them enjoy their drink, and have all those documents arrive in your platform as if it were magic 🦄.
Want to offer this ultimate convenience?
It’s not rocket science 🚀, but oh so satisfying
The invoice, or a link to it, or a notification that the invoice is available on their web portal,
Docr checks the incoming e-mail in near real-time and captures the invoice.
The invoice is uploaded to your platform where you can process it.
and Docr loves you 😘
Let’s be very clear on this
Once we’ve processed an e-mail and invoice, a few seconds after receiving it, they are purged from the Docr servers.
We only store the amount of processed e-mails per mailbox, and per sender.
What we don’t have, we can’t sell 🤷♂️
Our business model is based on selling a service to saas-developers, not by selling end-users’ data.
Docr is built on Amazon Web Services, hosted in Ireland.
We’re subjected to regular security assessments to make sure your end-users’ data remain safe.

You and your user get to pick which types of documents are captured per mailbox:

Docr supports 99.9% of the mailboxes out there.
Almost every e-mail account can be linked using IMAP. But this does require the user to provide his username and password for
his mailbox.
For Microsoft e-mail addresses (Office 365 & Hotmail) and for Google e-mail addresses (Google Workspace &
Gmail), it's however much easier to connect their mailbox using the provided OAuth flows. For those the user does not need to provide
their credentials.
A couple of examples of mailboxes and the way they are connected:
Docr contains an engine which is able to pick up most of the invoices when they arrive. Whether they are sent as a PDF or Word-document attachment, or a link to the document, or a link to a ZIP file containing the document. Docr knows how to handle those and will always provide you with a PDF version of the invoice.
Some suppliers have very specific ways of sending out invoices however, which might slip through the net. Just send us a copy of the e-mail and we'll teach the engine how to pick it up in the future.
We know offering an 'automatic invoice capture' feature in your platform is only valuable when it does what it promises. So we'll keep on improving our capture engine continuously.
Docr can be plugged in on your platform using an API. Therefor the end-user will never see a screen provided by Docr.
The only time a user gets confronted with the Docr logo and name is when consenting to mailbox-access in the OAuth flow when
connecting their Microsoft/Google mailbox.
Are you looking for a different kind of integration where you want Docr to provide you with the front-end? Get in touch.
Of course there is!
Get in touch and we'll be happy to send you a copy of the documentation.
